Exhibition at Hoop Gallery, Torquay 27-30 April 2023

Liquid Polyrhythm is an exhibition by Torquay-based architect, drummer and musico-spatial creative practitioner, Jeremy J Ham. Founded on the concept that ‘music is data’, the exhibition explores the intersection of music, spatial design and computation. Jeremy has developed an unique method of translating the data from the performance of a range of drum solos into 3D computer models which are then exhibited as digital prints on canvas. Liquid Polyrhythm illustrates how the unique attributes of drumming performance can be translated into beautiful three dimensional ‘liquid’ forms. The exhibition opening will showcase the artist’s work in soundscapes and virtual reality.
